Heber City’s Historic Tour: A Journey Through Time

The Community Alliance for Main Street (CAMS) is thrilled to support the Heber Leadership Academy’s latest initiative—a Historic Tour showcasing 34 of Heber’s most treasured properties from the era of 1860 to 1920. Approved by the Heber City Council and funded by the Trails, Arts & Parks Sales Tax, this project celebrates the enduring legacy of Heber’s pioneering settlers.

Community Collaboration

In collaboration with property owners and the Heber Preservation Committee, HLA members have meticulously researched and prepared historical plaques that highlight the architectural and historical significance of each site. This collective effort ensures that the stories of these properties are preserved and shared with the public.

Key Dates

Installation of the informative plaques will commence in Spring 2025, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the official tour launch set for June 2025. This event is poised to attract history buffs, educational groups, and tourists, enriching their understanding of our city’s roots.

Participation Opportunity

Owners of historic properties in Heber are invited to join this project. If you’re interested in having your property featured in this historic tour, please reach out to the Heber Leadership Academy. It’s a unique chance to have your property recognized as part of Heber City’s celebrated history.
