Heber City Set to Celebrate Independence Day with Red, White & Blue Festival – July 4, 2025

Heber City is gearing up for the third annual Red, White & Blue Festival, a full-day celebration of patriotism, family, and community scheduled for Friday, July 4. Presented by the Heber Valley Chamber and Tourism & Economic Development and sponsored by the Gordon Law Group, this year’s event promises new attractions, expanded activities, and entertainment for all ages.

A Full Day of Festivities

The day begins at 7:00 a.m. with the Main-to-Main 5K and 10K races, sponsored by Intermountain Health Heber Valley Hospital. Runners will follow a scenic route through town, embarking from Main Street and returning to cheers from spectators lining the course.

At 9:00 a.m., the festival’s first-ever Red, White & Blue Parade will roll down Main Street, featuring elaborately decorated floats, marching bands, local civic groups, and community organizations. The parade is expected to draw large crowds eager to celebrate the holiday.

Following the parade, Main Street Park will host day-long activities, including a chalk art contest, cornhole tournament, tug-of-war, strong-man competition, pie-eating contest, and root-beer chug challenge. Families can enjoy children’s games, browse vendor booths, and sample a variety of food trucks and local fare while live music fills the park.

Evening Entertainment

The celebration culminates at 7:00 p.m. with a concert by country music star Joe Nichols, known for chart-topping hits such as “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off.” Nichols’s performance will be followed by a fireworks spectacular over Memorial Hill at dusk, providing a patriotic finale to Heber Valley’s Independence Day.
