Community Alliance for Main Street 501(c)3 Designation

The Community Alliance for Main Street (CAMS) EIN# 84 -1980502 officially received its 501(c)(3) designation as a nonprofit organization operating for charitable and educational purposes on September 3, 2025, effective date November 22, 2024.

Our mission centers on community advocacy and education, with a focus on enhancing and revitalizing Heber City’s Main Street to support a thriving and inclusive downtown. To clarify, CAMS is not a business league, chamber of commerce, real estate board, or board of trade. We do not collect membership dues or operate for the benefit of any private group or association.

Our Board of Directors is composed entirely of volunteers representing a diverse cross-section of Main Street stakeholders—including business owners, property owners, local government officials, and engaged community members.

Advocacy remains an integral part of our educational mission. We work to ensure that the perspectives of downtown stakeholders are heard and considered in civic planning, zoning, preservation, and economic development decisions. Our programs include public education campaigns, community events, historical preservation projects, and beautification initiatives—all designed to foster civic pride and community well-being.
